HYUNDAI WIA deploys autonomous parking robots at Factorial Seongsu

• Hyundai WIA’s system autonomously parked and retrieved vehicles weighing up to 2.2 tonnes at speeds up to 1.2 metres per second.
• Two 110-millimetre-high robots moved under each vehicle, lifted it by the wheels and manoeuvred omnidirectionally in constrained parking areas.
• The Factorial Seongsu deployment was Hyundai WIA’s first commercial parking-robot service in South Korea, following commercialization at HMGICS in Singapore.
