About Telerob
Telerob was founded in 1994 and operates from Ostfildern, Germany. AeroVironment acquired the company in 2021, and Telerob now forms the German uncrewed-ground-vehicle operation within the wider AV portfolio. Its systems include compact and heavy tracked robots, precision manipulators, common Robo Command control stations, transport vehicles and training or lifecycle support.
The platform families are designed for explosive-ordnance disposal, improvised-device response, hazardous-material handling, CBRN assessment and tactical reconnaissance. Telerob remains the builder behind products such as telemax EVO and tEODor EVO, while current sales and branding are integrated into AeroVironment. Korthos preserves the subsidiary identity because engineering, manufacturing and customer support remain centred in Germany. - 2026-06-14 - Product Launch - Telerob launches TOM 50 RE backpackable UGV for reconnaissance and EOD
Developed in Ostfildern, TOM 50 RE weighs under 10 kg, carries up to 5 kg, and was unveiled at Eurosatory 2026. Its onboard SLAM maps multi-level GPS-denied interiors and lets operators mark and export points of interest. The tracked robot can relay IP-mesh communications and accept camera or disruptor payloads through MMI or UCI interfaces.

The telemax HT300 was selected after a competitive procurement, with initial deliveries scheduled for summer 2025 and further orders extending through 2027.
