About
About GMO AI & Robotics Corporation
GMO AIR serves as the AI and robotics trading and implementation company within GMO Internet Group. It does not build a proprietary humanoid platform; instead, it sources robots from manufacturers and adapts them to customer operations. The service layer spans requirements definition, hardware selection, software and motion-program development, proof-of-concept work, installation and continuing operational support.
The company was established in June 2024 and is headquartered in Shibuya, Tokyo. Its current programmes include humanoid dispatch services, enterprise and airport trials, the GMO Humanoid Lab and a broader catalogue of service, industrial and transport robots. GMO AIR also connects deployments to group capabilities in cloud infrastructure, networking and cyber-security. GMO SAFE, launched in August 2026, formalised that security layer for humanoids purchased through the company.
