OM Defence Systems unveils SPECTR autonomous radar-decoy UAV
OM Defence Systems unveiled SPECTR, an autonomous UAV with an adjustable microwave reflector for creating false airborne radar targets.
Evidence notes
- Displayed specifications gave the aircraft up to 500 kilometres of range, four hours of endurance and speed above 120 kilometres per hour.
- The 1.2-kilogram reflector covers 3–20 GHz and can represent radar cross-sections from about one to more than ten square metres.
- SPECTR uses automatic, inertial and GPS-supported navigation and was publicly shown at the Eurosatory exhibition in Paris.
