Vannevar Labs began with Decrypt, a software platform that helps government teams collect and analyze foreign-language and hard-to-access information. Its portfolio has expanded into deployed RF sensing, maritime-activity detection, cyber and economic-warfare tools, and language-model agents for operational assessment and planning.
The company sells directly into U.S. national-security missions and combines software delivery with fielded sensing hardware. By 2024 it described a shift from a single-product software vendor toward a multi-product defense prime focused on competition and deterrence in the Indo-Pacific.
