Reax applies compressed aerospace-development cycles to large strategic hardware for U.S. and allied defense customers. The company describes an approach that moves from concept through prototype, flight test and operational adoption on shorter schedules than traditional platform programmes.
The first product remains undisclosed. Reax has identified the programme as a heavy attritable system for critical defense infrastructure and plans to develop and flight-test early hardware with its initial financing. The San Diego company was founded by Skyler Shuford, previously president and co-founder of Hermeus.
