About GEODIS
GEODIS operates freight, contract-logistics and e-commerce fulfilment networks that use robotics to move, store and sort goods. Its sites deploy collaborative mobile robots for order picking, automated storage systems for inventory density and robotic sortation for parcel and item flow.
Warehouse software connects these machines with inventory, labour and transport operations so equipment can be reallocated as volumes and product mixes change. GEODIS selects technology from multiple automation suppliers and operates the resulting systems for customers, managing installation, process design, training and continuous improvement across its logistics estate.

The Carlisle site is a 575,000-square-foot omnichannel fulfillment facility for a global consumer-electronics company. Locus said the GEODIS Carlisle deployment passed 10 million units picked. The release said GEODIS and Locus had picked more than 100 million units worldwide since 2018.

GEODIS described the Cuautitlan Izcalli deployment as its first Latin American site using Locus Robotics technology. The implementation uses Locus Origin robots across a three-level mezzanine. The system supports e-commerce and retail orders for a major apparel brand.

Vecna said the GEODIS Indianapolis deployment began in late 2022 and reworked human-robot interaction for case picking. The system uses pallet-jack AMRs with zone-based GEODIS teammates instead of manual pallet-jack travel along pick paths. Vecna reported more than 1.7x productivity gain and labor-hour savings exceeding 42% versus manual operations.

GEODIS already used Locus AMRs at 14 sites in the United States and Europe. The partnership began at an Indiana warehouse in 2018. The expanded agreement covered fulfilment for retail and consumer brands.
