Leidos awarded Curtiss-Wright approximately $40 million of contracts for electromechanical actuation and mission computing on the U.S. Army IFPC Increment 2 air-defence system.

  • Curtiss-Wright will provide electromechanical actuators and DuraCOR 8044 rugged mission computers for the mobile ground-based system.
  • The DuraCOR 8044 uses an 11th-generation Intel Xeon W processor and is designed for size-, weight- and power-constrained defence applications.
  • IFPC Increment 2 is intended to acquire, track and defeat unmanned aircraft systems, cruise missiles and rockets, including in support of Guam defence.
