About Yahboom
Yahboom is a Shenzhen hardware company focused on open educational robotics and edge computing. It combines in-house product design, manufacturing, software tools, tutorials and online support rather than selling isolated electronic parts. The company reports customers across more than 80 countries and operates dedicated research and production facilities in Shenzhen.
Its catalogue includes wheeled ROSMASTER platforms, DOGZILLA quadrupeds, DOFBOT and JetCobot manipulators, controllers and a large sensor and accessory range. Platforms are built around commonly used ecosystems such as Raspberry Pi, NVIDIA Jetson, Arduino and micro:bit, allowing learners to move from basic programming into vision, SLAM, manipulation and multimodal AI. Yahboom is tracked as a research and education platform builder; its products are not positioned as autonomous production fleets.

- 2026-02-10 - Product Launch - Yahboom launches Raspbot-V2 AI vision robot car for Raspberry Pi 5
Yahboom's Raspbot-V2 uses Raspberry Pi 5 as its onboard computer and Mecanum wheels for sideways, diagonal, and 360-degree movement in tight indoor environments. Its 2DOF pan-tilt-zoom camera works with OpenCV and MediaPipe for facial and gesture recognition, license-plate and color tracking, and target tracking. Python 3 support, an OLED display, ultrasonic obstacle sensors, and a four-channel tracking module make it a practical test bed for AI vision and mobile-robot navigation.
