Insta360 was founded in 2015 and is headquartered in Shenzhen. The company builds consumer and professional imaging systems, including 360 cameras, action cameras, gimbals, conferencing devices and software for capturing and reframing immersive video.
Its aerial robotics activity sits within Antigravity, a separately branded business incubated by Insta360 with third parties. Antigravity A1 combines a 249-gram aircraft, dual-lens 8K panoramic capture, Vision goggles and a motion controller. The drone uses an Ambarella CV5 edge-AI SoC for onboard image processing and includes obstacle sensing, route planning and subject tracking.
