About
About Deepen AI
Deepen AI provides sensor-data infrastructure for teams developing autonomous vehicles and robots. Its annotation environment handles images, video and point clouds, combining multi-sensor labelling, automated segmentation and box generation, ontology management, workforce controls and built-in quality assurance before datasets are exported to model-development pipelines.
Calibration tools align cameras, LiDAR, radar, IMUs and vehicle coordinate systems, while Validate checks recorded sensor data for calibration and collection problems. The company also operates Safety Pool, a shared repository of driving scenarios used to support safety analysis across the mobility industry. These products cover the data lifecycle from raw multi-modal collection through labelling, calibration, validation and scenario analysis, and can be deployed in the cloud or on premises.

Timeline
Events
- 2026-10-05 - Partnership - Deepen AI adds ROVR’s 90,000-plus hours of driving data to Refinery
The corpus covers driving environments across the Americas, Europe and Asia and is refreshed as new data is collected. Each ROS2 bag includes forward-facing LiDAR, camera imagery, IMU and GNSS data with calibration parameters. Refinery catalogs, validates and structures datasets, with delivery formats including ROS2, MCAP, HDF5, nuScenes and LeRobot.
Source - 2026-03-08 - Capability - Deepen AI adds Visual-Language-Action capability for embodied AI workflows
The capability combines vision, video, audio, language instructions and sensor context into a shared representation for robotics and autonomous-vehicle workflows. It produces structured actions or policies that can connect with robot planning systems rather than only labels or predictions. Deepen positions evaluation across diverse operating scenarios and integration with production MLOps pipelines as part of deployment readiness.
Source - 2026-03-03 - Funding - Deepen AI announces seed round led by Majlis Advisory to scale sensor-fusion ground truth for physical AI
Deepen AI announced a seed round led by Majlis Advisory to expand product development and go-to-market for physical-AI tooling. The round was positioned around sensor-fusion ground truth, calibration, validation, and safety-critical data workflows for robotics and autonomy. Capital was framed as scaling Deepen's infrastructure layer rather than funding a single product drop.
Source - 2024-03-26 - Deployment - Deepen AI calibration suite is deployed across May Mobility's fleet workflows
May Mobility uses Deepen AI software and a custom in-house station to calibrate fleet sensors in minutes instead of hours. Calibration time fell by almost 80 percent compared with traditional methods.
Source - 2024-03-26 - Product Launch - Deepen AI launches integrated sensor calibration and data annotation solution
Deepen AI launched an integrated package pairing its calibration workflow with annotation tooling for multi-sensor autonomy datasets. The release stressed fixing sensor bias and alignment before heavy labeling and training to lift end-to-end dataset quality. Deepen pitched the bundle to large organizations that want faster labeling operations with stronger safety-critical reliability.
Source - 2023-05-23 - Partnership - Deepen AI and Cron AI agree to a five-year strategic partnership
Deepen AI and Cron AI signed a five-year strategic partnership around annotation workflows and adaptive 3D sensor perception. The partners said they would blend Deepen's annotation stack with Cron AI perception technology to ship joint offerings. The agreement was cast as the opening move in a longer technical roadmap that could span additional products and services.
