The work will combine MulticoreWare’s heterogeneous-compute optimisation with Micware’s automotive software experience. Technical scope includes embedded performance, vehicle integration and edge deployment of AI workloads. No production nomination, named customer or financial terms were disclosed.

The combination adds FPGA and RTL design capabilities to MulticoreWare’s existing CPU, GPU, DSP and NPU engineering work. MulticoreWare said Simulus brings design and verification expertise in CXL and PCIe connectivity for heterogeneous compute systems. The company identified sensor fusion and physical-AI workloads for edge and robotics applications as areas the combined team can support.

The demonstration ran VLA models on AMD Ryzen AI Embedded integrated GPUs using AMD ROCm software. MulticoreWare said its work on the AMD Robotics Software Suite targets latency, reliability and accuracy for production robot applications. The robotics presentation builds on more than 15 years of broader MulticoreWare software engineering work across AMD platforms.
