About eSmart Systems

eSmart Systems is a Norwegian software company serving electric-grid inspection and asset management. Grid Vision combines image and asset data into a digital representation of utility infrastructure, while its computer-vision models identify defects from inspection imagery. The platform is hardware-agnostic: imagery can come from drones, helicopters, ground teams and other capture methods.

Its robotics relevance is the analysis layer of autonomous and remotely operated inspection workflows, not manufacture of drones or onboard flight autonomy. In the UK Project VOLT trial, eSmart Systems is providing AI analysis for footage from Skyports drone-in-a-box inspections at electricity substations.
