About Star Species Robotics
Star Species Robotics builds wheeled mobile manipulators for three-dimensional cleaning in public facilities. The Star X2 family combines visual perception, a six-axis arm, interchangeable tools and a mobile base to clean sinks, toilets, counters and floors. Its cleaning-specific PCVLM model coordinates scene understanding, task selection and tool use, while staff assign and supervise work from a mobile interface.
The company sells or leases robots with operating support. More than 100 units were working in Hangzhou public-restroom settings by September 2026. That month Star Species launched its first mass-production configuration and signed agreements covering nearly 1,500 robots with six service, property, healthcare and public-sector partners.
