About Direct Drive Technology
Direct Drive Technology was founded in 2018 and operates from Songshan Lake in Dongguan. Its engineering focus is direct-drive actuation that removes conventional reduction gears, combining motors, sensing, drive electronics and control software in modules for robots and other motion systems.
The portfolio includes wheels and cleaning modules for domestic robots, drive-wheel modules for AGVs, AMRs and delivery or inspection robots, and robot-joint products. The company also develops complete wheel-legged platforms such as DIABLO, making it both an enabling-component supplier and a robot-platform developer.
