About Applied Systems Engineering
Applied Systems Engineering develops navigation systems, avionics and flight software for aircraft and weapons. Its Advanced Tactical Navigator combines inertial navigation with satellite-navigation inputs and mission-specific aiding sources to support operation in degraded or denied GPS conditions. A pseudo-GPS output allows navigation information to reach equipment that expects a GPS signal.
Engineering work in Niceville and testing in Tucson support munition design, integration and evaluation. The portfolio also includes mission computers, small-aircraft and munition launch systems, test equipment and weapon-system simulators. ASEI now operates within Falcata alongside Technology Service Corporation.
