SEMIFIVE
About
About SEMIFIVE
SEMIFIVE’s SoC platforms combine preconfigured chip IP with RTL, simulation environments and a framework for integrating customer-specific functions. The development package also includes system software, reference package and board designs, and hardware/software bring-up tools, allowing customers to develop applications alongside their custom silicon.
The company coordinates design work with foundry, packaging and test partners rather than operating as a chip foundry. Its robotics programme with Mobilint covers development of an AI chip for outdoor autonomous systems under Korea’s K-On-Device AI programme; the announced contract represents a development project rather than delivered production chips.
