At SEW-EURODRIVE, SIVAplan integrated a high-bay buffer warehouse with mobile robots and coordinated production logistics.

Two stacker cranes share one aisle serving more than 2,300 storage positions. SEW-EURODRIVE mobile robots transfer production racks through four automated entry and exit stations. Supervisory control developed with PROCAM coordinates vehicles, machines, conveyors and SAP-connected transport orders.

The channel-storage installation provides approximately 10,000 pallet positions between production and dispatch. A custom double transverse SAT load-handling device moves two pallets simultaneously. SIVAplan supplied the racking, building envelope, stacker cranes, conveyors, controls and warehouse-management system.
