About
About AIM Robotics Canada
AIM Robotics develops Canadian software for drone operations and low-altitude airspace intelligence. Its RPAS WILCO platform supports flight operations, while SafeAirspace brings RF-based drone identification, flight-authorisation awareness, operator localisation and coordinated response into a shared interface. The portfolio serves public safety agencies, defence teams, airports and critical-infrastructure operators.
The Waterloo-region company is also developing Drone First Responder as a Service to send drones to incidents and deliver their observations to responders. Co-founder and CTO Ben Ying demonstrated its emerging platform at the Accelerator Centre in July 2026. AIM was selected for Canada's CUAS 2026 sandbox and later qualified in the Defence Drone Initiative Marketplace; these milestones support testing and procurement access.
