About Ubitium

Ubitium uses a programmable array to perform sensing, AI inference and real-time machine control on the same processor architecture. Computing resources are allocated at runtime, rather than assigning each workload to a separate fixed-function chip. Unified memory and standard RISC-V tools are intended to simplify development and reduce transfers between processors in embedded systems.

The German company has working UB108 engineering silicon with 256 processing elements, fabricated on Samsung’s 8nm process. Its planned UB410 commercial processor increases that array to 4,096 elements, with evaluation units scheduled for 2027. Initial customer applications focus on radar and audio processing, while autonomous machines are the wider target. Ubitium is headquartered in Düsseldorf, with research and engineering offices in Rülzheim and Karlsruhe.
