About First Breach
First Breach is a vertically integrated U.S. defense manufacturer based in Hagerstown, Maryland. The company produces ammunition and components and is expanding the same domestic industrial base into unmanned aerial systems. It became publicly traded on the Nasdaq Capital Market under FBDT in August 2026.
Its proprietary drone programme comprises two unnamed Class 1 attritable platforms, one intended for close-quarters missions and one for longer-range operation. First Breach owns the platform intellectual property and commercialization path, while Hellbender provides engineering, design, technical support and component manufacturing. The first prototype flight in August 2026 is a development milestone; production and throughput remain forward-looking.

The approximately 2.2 kg prototype carries about 500 g and has demonstrated a 2 km range and roughly 10-minute endurance. The aircraft flew with commercial flight electronics; the Hellbender-developed controller runs Betaflight but has not yet been integrated into the flying prototype. Initial prototypes are targeted for Q4 2026; scaling in Q2 2027 and capacity above 2,500 drones per week remain company targets.
Source - 2026-09-15 - Regulatory - First Breach secures ATF licence for regulated drone materials
The licence is valid through September 1, 2029 and authorizes regulated importation of explosive materials. The company says the new authority supports handling and integrating materials and components needed to develop, test and manufacture complete strike-drone systems. First Breach targets a drone-production ramp in the second quarter of 2027; the licence is not approval of any specific drone or payload.
