About
About Upstream
Upstream builds cloud-based cybersecurity and operational intelligence software for connected machines. Its platform normalises existing telemetry and uses machine learning and digital-twin profiling to detect behavioural anomalies. Automotive applications include vehicle security operations, threat intelligence, data analytics and fleet monitoring, with customers spanning manufacturers, suppliers and mobility service providers.
The company expanded its live digital-twin offering to robots, humanoids, drones and autonomous mobile robots in October 2026. This extends an architecture developed around connected vehicles to other physical systems that generate operational data. Upstream's financing history includes a $62 million Series C led by Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance in 2021, supporting cybersecurity, analytics and team expansion.
