About Velotric
Velotric is a consumer-mobility company whose established business is electric bicycles sold through online and dealer channels in North America. Founded in 2021 by former Lime hardware co-founder Adam Zhang, it combines product engineering, supply-chain development and customer research. Its bicycles target everyday recreation and mobility, including riders who prefer an upright position and easier mounting. The company operates from Shenzhen and supports customers through a North American dealer network.
Its consumer-exoskeleton programme restarted in 2026 after two earlier internal cancellations. The development focuses on light outdoor walking and hiking, with continuing work on sensing, materials and drive systems. The aim is wearable assistance that feels comfortable and socially acceptable to ordinary users, particularly older adults who want to stay active. The programme remains in development; a commercial launch, final specifications and shipped exoskeleton have yet to be established.
