About 7Xrobotics
ALF-1 uses two robot arms, cameras and local NVIDIA Jetson compute to identify and manipulate deformable garments. The system is intended to handle shirts, trousers, underwear and towels, adjusting arm motion around fabrics that do not maintain a fixed geometry between cycles.
The robot runs without requiring a permanent cloud connection and is being developed for domestic laundry rather than industrial linen processing. 7X also offers a dual-arm development platform for researchers working on bimanual manipulation; ALF-1 remains an early product and demonstration programme rather than a broadly delivered home appliance.
