AGCO manufactures tractors, combines, crop-application equipment, hay machinery and grain systems through brands including Fendt, Massey Ferguson, Valtra and GSI. Its PTx technology organisation brings together Precision Planting and the PTx Trimble joint venture to provide guidance, steering, planting, crop protection, harvesting and farm-data tools. Products are available on new AGCO machines and as dealer-installed upgrades for mixed-brand fleets.
PTx Trimble OutRun retrofits compatible tractors for autonomous grain-cart work controlled by the combine operator; tillage and fertiliser versions were still in beta and alpha testing during 2025. PTx RowPilot uses vision to distinguish crops from weeds and guide mechanical inter-row weeding, while SymphonyVision adjusts sprayer output from detected weed severity. These systems automate bounded field operations and machine control. Farmers and dealers remain responsible for implement setup, field planning, agronomic decisions and safe operation around people and other equipment.
