About AgriRobot

AgriRobot provides a configurable safety layer that agricultural-machine manufacturers can integrate with new or existing autonomous vehicles. The system combines redundant two- and three-dimensional environmental sensing, real-time obstacle detection and a GNSS-based integrity service that measures position uncertainty against virtual field boundaries. It is designed for vineyards, orchards and open fields where dust, occlusion and irregular crop rows complicate unattended operation.

Integration begins with hazard and operating-domain analysis, sensor-layout simulation and connection to the vehicle controller. The package then adds geofencing, live video, remote override, cloud data transfer and over-the-air updates. AgriRobot structures this work around ISO 25119, ISO 18497 and ISO 12100, with staged safety functions designed to progress from supervised detection to remote oversight of field machines.

  • 2026-02-23 - Contract Award - ESA supports AgriRobot GEOFENCE demonstration project

The project follows a May 2025 kick-start study that AgriRobot says established technical and commercial viability. GEOFENCE combines GNSS integrity, Galileo OSNMA spoofing protection and sensor-fusion protection-level algorithms. The goal is a certifiable, user-validated service that can trigger safety actions when boundary-violation risk becomes unacceptable.
