About AROTEC

AROTEC Automation und Robotik engineers custom production and handling cells from concept through ready-to-operate handover. Its systems cover palletising and depalletising, bin picking, sensitive assembly, grinding, plasma cutting and other metalworking tasks. A typical cell combines a six-axis industrial arm, application-specific gripper, safety equipment, controls and the software needed to identify parts and plan movement.

ART-3D converts point clouds from a three-dimensional vision sensor into object positions and grasp choices, then plans a collision-free extraction path in the robot's joint space. This lets cells separate randomly arranged cast, forged or stamped parts, cartons, containers, tyres and frozen bakery products. AROTEC also supplies dedicated PALGO and DEPALGO software for pallet and tyre workflows, and supports force-torque sensing for joining and finishing. The Augsburg integrator designs the process, end effector and interfaces around each customer's products and upstream control system.
