About ARS Automation
ARS combines a rotating flexible surface, controlled motion and machine vision to separate and orient parts for robotic pick-and-place. FlexiBowl is designed for rapid product changes and components that are difficult to handle with conventional vibratory bowl feeders.
The Italian company dates to 1987 and introduced FlexiBowl in 2009. It reports more than 2,000 installed systems across over 40 countries and supports customers through an international partner network and a US subsidiary.

- 2024-03-18 - Facility Opening - ARS Automation establishes United States subsidiary
The subsidiary began handling US commercial activity from 1 April 2024. Its office was established at 1704 East Boulevard in Charlotte, North Carolina. The local entity supports FlexiBowl customers and partners in the American market.

SCHUNK integrated FlexiBowl as a standard component in ten CoLab robotic application centres. The centres let customers test and validate machining and handling processes before deployment. The collaboration pairs flexible part presentation with robot gripping for high-mix automation.
