About Asmec
Asmec is a Japanese technical distributor of electronic components, optical products, embedded computers and robotics equipment. Its engineers assist customers from product selection through implementation and ongoing technical support. The business serves industrial developers, vehicle-system teams, research organisations and education users, alongside supplying and installing security-camera equipment.
Its robotics catalogue combines equipment from external manufacturers with local engineering support. Elephant Robotics’ myCobot Pro 630 is offered for picking, part transfer, simple assembly and teaching, with Python, ROS and C++ development options. Vecow’s EAC-7000 computers bring Jetson Thor processing, camera connections and industrial I/O to mobile robots, machine vision and autonomous navigation projects. Asmec began Japanese sales of these products in October 2026 and handles demonstrations, configuration discussions and pricing enquiries directly.

- 2026-10-12 - Product Launch - Asmec begins offering Vecow EAC-7000 computers in Japan
The offering includes five configurations with camera, PoE+ and 10GigE interface options. T5000 and T4000 configurations are advertised at up to 2,070 and 1,200 FP4 TFLOPS respectively. The system supports JetPack 7.0, Isaac Perceptor and Holoscan Sensor Bridge for robotics and multi-sensor applications.
