About Avision
Avision provides airspace infrastructure for drone operations through Avision UTM and related FAA services. Its tools cover airspace awareness, temporary-flight restrictions and notices, LAANC flight authorisations, coordination, prioritisation and operational-compliance workflows.
The platform sits above the aircraft and fleet as an airspace and permissions layer, helping commercial, public-safety and advanced-air-mobility operators plan and coordinate flights in the national airspace. Avision also describes support for drone-as-first-responder and larger cargo or air-taxi operations. Aircraft autonomy, operator supervision and local regulatory approval remain separate from the software's coordination functions.

Events
- 2025-11-04 - Deployment - Avision enters Zürich U-space production operations
Avision passed system and operational validation tests conducted by the Swiss Federal Office of Civil Aviation. Skyguide issued live production credentials after Avision completed its production onboarding process. Selected operators were set to begin flights using Avision services for authorization, geo-awareness, remote identification, traffic information and conformance monitoring.
