About Aylight

Aylight’s core device is a frequency-modulated comb laser that produces many stable optical carriers from a single laser cavity. The architecture can generate channels across the O, C and L telecommunications bands, with programmable spacing from 10 to 200 GHz and configurations extending beyond 1,000 wavelengths. Total optical output of up to 20 dBm lets one source feed dense parallel links.

In an AI datacentre, those carriers can be modulated and routed through optical interconnects connecting accelerators, switches and memory systems. Aylight is developing the source as an isolator-free, feedback-tolerant component that reduces packaging and control requirements around high-channel-count photonics. The technology sits upstream of robotics by increasing bandwidth and energy efficiency in model-training and inference infrastructure.
