Bedestrian builds indoor-outdoor delivery robots for hospitals, factories, warehouses, campuses and pedestrian districts. The B1 platform combines autonomous mapping and navigation with 360-degree cameras, LiDAR, depth sensing, voice interaction and a digital display. Swappable batteries and modular cargo compartments support continuous operation, including temperature-controlled storage for medicines or other sensitive goods.
Its Generative Pedestrian Awareness System connects perception and language models with the robot operating system, while remote teleoperators can assist when autonomy encounters an unusual situation. Bedestrian offers the machines through a robotic-logistics service and develops adaptive handling equipment for transfers between robots, storage and vehicles. Earlier pilots moved chemotherapy drugs between a hospital pharmacy and cancer centre and delivered food, prescriptions and telemedicine services to homebound users.
