Blickfeld combines compact scanning LiDAR hardware with software for object detection, volume measurement, crowd analysis and perimeter monitoring. The Qb series serves industrial and autonomy applications, while QbProtect packages sensing and onboard analytics for security deployments.
Senstar Technologies completed its acquisition of Blickfeld in February 2026. Blickfeld GmbH and Blickfeld North America continue under their existing names and operate with autonomy while using Senstar’s global infrastructure, support and sales channels.

- 2026-09-14 - Product Launch - Blickfeld introduces QbProtect S indoor security LiDAR
The sensor targets protection of objects and areas including museum exhibits, server racks, banks and premium residences. Integrated edge computing analyzes 3D point clouds on the device and detects security-critical events in real time. QbProtect S extends Blickfeld’s security portfolio alongside the established QbProtect perimeter sensor.

A Senstar subsidiary acquired all outstanding Blickfeld shares for €10.4 million in cash plus up to €1 million in performance earnouts. Blickfeld GmbH and Blickfeld North America continue under their existing names as Senstar subsidiaries. Blickfeld continues to operate with autonomy while using Senstar’s global infrastructure, support and sales channels.
