About BlueStar
BlueStar distributes identification, mobility and operational technology through resellers and systems integrators. Its portfolio spans barcode and RFID equipment, mobile computers, point-of-sale systems, digital signage, networking and robotics. The Hebron, Kentucky company combines vendor distribution with technical support, configuration, partner education and channel-development services.
Its TECNexus programme pairs BlueStar's reseller channel with Nexus's robotics service expertise. Resellers can offer managed-services contracts covering different autonomous mobile robots, with presales guidance, deployment support, onsite assistance, training and continuing performance review. Applications include cleaning and indoor transport in healthcare, hospitality and retail facilities. BlueStar adopted its current brand after the 1992 purchase of United Radio. TD SYNNEX signed an agreement to acquire BlueStar in October 2026; the transaction remains subject to regulatory approvals and other closing conditions while the businesses continue to operate independently.
