About Canvair
Canvair mounts a lightweight LED display beneath a drone to show photographs, animation, video, live feeds and promotional graphics above an event. Content is formatted before deployment and synchronised with a preplanned flight path, while the aircraft holds or moves the screen through the required viewing area. A launch space of roughly 15 × 15 feet is sufficient for the operating setup.
The company supplies each activation as an operated service and retains responsibility for the aircraft. Its team manages planning, permissions, insurance, weather review and site safety, then deploys a pilot, visual observer and content operator. A typical appearance lasts up to about 12 minutes and can be repeated twice per hour. Canvair avoids flight over crowds and positions the screen around sightlines established with the event organiser.

- 2026-03-19 - Demonstration - Canvair opens AFCEA New Horizons session with aerial LED drone display
Canvair opened the 50th AFCEA Lexington-Concord New Horizons Symposium with an aerial LED drone display highlighted on 19 March 2026. The display served as an opening moment for a defense-focused startup and technology session. Canvair operated the aerial LED entertainment drone display as a MassRobotics resident startup.

Canvair joined the MassRobotics October 2025 Demo Days program for resident startups. More than 30 resident startups presented robotics and AI solutions to investors, corporate sponsors and ecosystem partners. Canvair builds drone-mounted aerial LED displays for sports, festivals, brand activations and public events.
