Ceva operates an intellectual-property licensing model rather than manufacturing complete chips or robots. Founded in 2002 and headquartered in Rockville, Maryland, the public company develops processor architectures, wireless-connectivity IP and embedded software that semiconductor and device makers integrate into their own products.

Its robotics relevance spans the Sense, Connect and Infer portfolios. MotionEngine and BNO sensor-fusion software combine inertial inputs for orientation and motion tracking; vision and radar IP support perception; and NeuPro architectures add on-device inference. Because these technologies are licensed into customer silicon, the resulting robotics exposure is broad but indirect at the product-brand level. Korthos therefore keeps Ceva in the semiconductor enabling layer, with robotics-specific context tied to explicit sensor-fusion and edge-AI applications.
