About Cobionix
Codi is a medical cobot platform that combines a mobile robotic body, instrument control, diagnostic sensors, cameras, collision avoidance and an AI assistant. Cobionix is designing it to carry out defined clinical tasks end to end while working alongside healthcare professionals, with Codi OS providing general and application-specific software for different procedures.
The programme grew from a 2022 proof of concept that autonomously performed an intramuscular injection. Codi adds contactless skin sensing and wider situational awareness as a base for future clinical applications. Cobionix is developing the platform for healthcare providers as a configurable assistant for clinical procedures, with current activity focused on product development and commercialisation.
