Crest engineers battery packs around a customer's voltage, chemistry, duty cycle and installation constraints, then integrates its own battery-management hardware and state-estimation algorithms. Its SOC, SOH, diagnostic and control software monitors pack condition and manages performance across logistics robots and other industrial systems.

Robotics is an established commercial market for the Seoul company: disclosed customers include Korean robot manufacturers, and Crest has supplied logistics-robot battery systems used in overseas smart factories. The company is now adapting that stack to humanoids through a KIRIA-backed hot-swap battery and charging-station demonstration on ROBROS's IGRIS-C.

  • 2026-08-07 - Award - ROBROS joins Crest-led KIRIA humanoid battery-system demonstration

    The demonstration will run through the end of 2026 and cover Crest's intelligent BMS, hot-swappable battery pack and charging-station architecture. ROBROS will provide the IGRIS-C industrial humanoid as the exact validation platform. A three-year results-utilisation period is intended to move the validated component system toward commercialisation after the demonstration.
