About Dassault Aviation
Dassault Aviation designs and manufactures military aircraft, business jets and aerospace systems. It led the European nEUROn programme, a large-scale stealth uncrewed combat-aircraft demonstrator used to develop low-observability, flight-control and collaborative programme expertise across participating nations.
The company is applying that work to a future combat drone intended to operate alongside the Rafale F5 standard. The programme combines supervised autonomy, mission-system integration and a stealth airframe while retaining human responsibility for combat decisions. Dassault manages aircraft design, industrial coordination, flight testing and support across these defence programmes.

- 2026-07-13 - Demonstration - Dassault Aviation and Harmattan AI demonstrate NAMIB EW payload with Rafale F4
NAMIB detected, identified and geolocated an electromagnetic emitter several dozen kilometres away, then transmitted the radar position to the Rafale for a simulated strike. The lightweight payload is designed for quadcopters and fixed-wing UAS, extending electronic-support and targeting functions to autonomous aircraft. The demonstration follows the companies' January 2026 strategic partnership to integrate autonomous capabilities into next-generation air combat.

The nEUROn completed a roughly 15-minute public flying display at an air meet organized by the French Air Force. The demonstrator flew in formation with a Rafale and Falcon 8X at 150 metres and 350 kilometres per hour. Dassault Aviation prepared the display with France's DGA procurement agency and the French Air Force.
