About Demae-can

Demae-can is a Japanese consumer-delivery platform connecting restaurants, customers and delivery operations. The publicly listed company runs marketplace and logistics services across Japan and increasingly acts as a commercial operating layer for autonomous last-mile systems.

Its robotics exposure comes from live urban-delivery trials that connect restaurant ordering, facility handoff and sidewalk-robot operation. Demae-can does not build the robots; it supplies the customer interface, merchant network and delivery workflow into which platforms such as Neubility’s Neubie are integrated.

  • 2026-08-24 - Deployment - Demae-can and Neubility launch Sasazuka robot-delivery pilot

The trial runs from August 24 through September 30, 2026 and initially serves an approximately 300-metre radius. Orders from Curry Shop C&C Sasazuka and Doutor Coffee Frente Sasazuka are delivered through Demae-can’s consumer workflow. The programme is a time-bounded urban pilot with a planned radius expansion toward approximately one kilometre, not a permanent citywide launch.
