About Enact Intelligence
Enact Intelligence is a Zurich-based physical AI company developing robot intelligence around force and touch as well as vision. Founded in March 2026 by Manuel Yves Galliker, its approach spans model architectures, data pipelines and the actuator signals used to sense physical interaction. The company describes a proprioceptive system intended to give robots whole-body awareness of contact and support more reliable dexterous manipulation.
Enact emerged from stealth in October 2026 with a $30 million pre-seed round. Its early team draws on robotics and AI experience from organizations including 1X, Physical Intelligence and ETH Zurich. The financing is intended to expand hardware development, research and hiring, with industrial partner rollouts planned across several sectors. Those plans describe the commercialization programme; publicly established robot models, deployment counts and independently validated task performance remain limited. The company is distinct from the unrelated business using enact.company.
