Exwayz Engine separates offline map construction from real-time localization on the robot. Raw 3D LiDAR recordings are processed into dense, georeferenced maps; a CPU-based localization component then matches live point clouds against those maps and publishes six-degree-of-freedom pose through ROS, ROS 2 or RTMaps. The software is LiDAR-agnostic and supports embedded ARM64 and x86 systems.
The Paris company licenses its stack per robot after data-based demonstrations and evaluation trials. Production case studies span port tractors, industrial logistics, last-mile delivery and mobile mapping, with named users including Embotech, Navya and Cyvl. Exwayz raised €1 million in November 2025 to expand engineering and commercial deployment.
