About Fabric

Fabric, formerly CommonSense Robotics, develops automated fulfilment systems for retailers and logistics operators. Its stack combines proprietary mobile robots, high-density storage hardware and software that manages receiving, inventory, picking, order assembly and dispatch. Configurations range from centralized fulfilment centres and urban micro-fulfilment centres to containerized Nano Express sites, compact Quick Pick installations and storage or sortation buffers.

The modular architecture can be installed in stores, stand-alone facilities and unconventional urban spaces, then expanded by adding robots, shelving and software functions. Fabric supports grocery, health-and-beauty, rapid-commerce and business-to-business replenishment workflows, including ambient, chilled and frozen inventory. Its systems have operated commercially since 2018; an early Tel Aviv installation used the same robotic and software stack in an 18,000-square-foot, three-temperature grocery site serving online orders for Rami Levy.
