Founded in 1982 and based in Amtzell, Germany, fpt robotics is an industrial automation integrator with more than 200 employees and over 3,500 completed automation projects. The company works across production automation, intralogistics and industrial digital printing, taking responsibility from system design through commissioning and lifecycle support.
Its offer is broader than individual robot cells. fpt combines third-party robots, grippers, machine vision, safety equipment and material-flow systems into complete production processes. The fpt ICON software layer provides graphical, cross-manufacturer programming for configurable plug-and-play robot systems, while logistics projects cover depalletising, picking, sorting, conveying and palletising. This places the company at the integration layer between component suppliers and operating factories.

- 2026-03-24 - Demonstration - fpt robotics demonstrates interoperable palletizing system with KUKA and SYNAOS at LogiMAT 2026
At LogiMAT 2026 in Stuttgart, fpt robotics and KUKA demonstrated an interoperable intralogistics setup in the SYNAOS Interoperability Arena. A KUKA KMP 600 transported pallets to fpt robotics’ station, where products were recognized, picked, and palletized in a live de-palletizing/palletizing demonstration. The setup combined an industrial robot, AI-based camera system, software for uniform and mixed palletizing patterns, and a versatile gripper for boxes, containers, buckets, and bags.
