Fujitsu’s physical-AI architecture connects enterprise applications and AI agents with robots operating at the edge. Its Kozuchi framework coordinates specialised agents, simulation, digital twins and NVIDIA NIM services, while the planned Physical AI Platform manages models, robot data and application deployment across cloud and local infrastructure. Fujitsu MONAKA processors and NVIDIA GPUs provide the underlying compute path.
The company is developing the platform with FANUC, Yaskawa Electric and Kawasaki Heavy Industries so factory and service robots can connect with customer systems through a common control and data layer. Initial work covers manufacturing, logistics, healthcare and nursing care, where business instructions must be translated into safe machine tasks and operating results returned to enterprise applications.

- 2026-08-27 - Partnership - GA-ASI and Fujitsu sign MQ-9B support MOU for Japan
The proposed framework covers avionics maintenance, parts management, maintenance training and field-support services in Japan. The companies will also evaluate mission-system integration, design, manufacturing, testing and related technical collaboration. The agreement is an exploration and capability-building MOU rather than a completed maintenance or production contract.

Fujitsu will lead the business study and contribute AI, world-model, simulation and systems-integration capabilities. The robot manufacturers bring industrial platforms, control systems and deployment experience. The initiative builds on Fujitsu and NVIDIA collaboration and is intended to move physical AI toward commercial implementation in Japan.

The demonstration connected an IOTA distributed-ledger workflow with a DOBOT Magician desktop robotic arm. Dobot described the Magician as the physical automation device in Fujitsu’s Hannover Messe exhibit. Magician offered 13 extension ports, 2 MB of offline command storage and support for Blockly, Python, Java, C++, LabVIEW and other languages.
