About GeniTech
GeniTech Co., Ltd., also known as Anhui Shenji Technology, is the NIO-controlled company responsible for the group's intelligent-driving and AI-compute chip business. Its NX9031 family uses a 5 nm automotive-grade process and spans the NX9031X for assisted-driving workloads, the NX9031U used in the Ruidong embodied-intelligence development platform, and additional variants aimed at agent inference and lower-tier compute requirements.
The company's production base comes from deployments of NX9031 silicon across NIO and ONVO vehicles. In July 2026 it presented the Ruidong platform for robot perception and autonomous-planning models, alongside a distributed-agent platform, extending its stated market beyond passenger vehicles to humanoid robots, unmanned logistics vehicles and high-compute terminals.
GeniTech remains a controlled and consolidated NIO subsidiary. NIO reported definitive investment agreements across two 2026 funding rounds; the public transaction disclosures are treated as subsidiary financing and ownership events, not as proof that every proposed external-market product has reached volume deployment.
