About
About Griffon Aerospace
Griffon Aerospace designs, manufactures and operates unmanned aircraft for defence, flight testing and research customers. Its aircraft range includes the configurable Outlaw family, Broadsword aerial targets and the Valiant expeditionary VTOL system. The Outlaw G2E is a distinct fixed-wing model intended to carry sensitive sensors and experimental payloads, while Arrowhead extends the company’s work into multi-role and one-way mission systems.
Based in Madison, Alabama, Griffon combines airframe engineering, composite manufacturing, avionics and payload integration with flight and target operations. Teams also work from Fort Bliss, Texas, supporting military customers and test programmes. This combination allows customer-specific aircraft and subsystems to move through design, production, integration and flight evaluation within the same company. Army procurement and FTUAS prototyping are separate programmes with different aircraft configurations.
