About Gruppo Esea
Gruppo Esea designs and manufactures customised production machinery, test equipment and complete automated lines. Its engineering covers mechanical, electrical and software design through fabrication, assembly, commissioning and service from a 15,000-square-metre site in Cepagatti, Italy.
Composite-manufacturing systems include automated fibre placement, automated tape laying, filament winding, towpreg equipment, curing ovens and burst-test rigs. Aerospace work includes machinery for launcher structures and cryogenic tanks, while defence projects include NATO-standard test benches and missile transport equipment. An in-house laboratory lets Esea simulate and validate processes before delivery. The group has installed more than 700 tailored production and testing machines since 1980.
