About Hanson Robotics
Hanson uses its flexible Frubber facial material and internal actuation to create coordinated expressions, gaze and head movement. Cameras, microphones, speech systems and character software connect those physical behaviours with conversation and social interaction.
The company develops complete social robots and custom character programmes for education, research, entertainment and public engagement. Sophia Utility adds autonomous indoor mobility, gestural arms and a cognitive SDK to the company’s best-known expressive humanoid platform.
