Hanwei's sensing work extends from gas detection to contact and motion measurement. Its flexible pressure sensors use thin sensing layers to detect surface loads, with companion electronics that display pressure readings and changes over time. The MY2801 measurement module supports calibration, local recording and transfer to a computer over USB.
Its elastic sensors combine conductive sensing material with a textile covering, allowing them to follow stretching and bending in gloves, clothing and other flexible surfaces. Paired electronics and algorithms convert the response into measurements such as displacement or bending angle. These components give equipment designers embedded sensing options alongside Hanwei's complete portable detectors, fixed alarms and connected environmental-monitoring systems.

The companies will jointly develop and manufacture dexterous-hand hardware and control systems for embodied robots. The sensing scope covers touch, force control, balance, temperature and proximity to support multimodal perception and adaptive manipulation. The partners target end-effectors for humanoid robots, collaborative robots and robot arms, combining Hanwei sensing with Zhenghe micro-chain transmission technology.

Hanwei said it had established a good working relationship with AgiBot and that other robot-company collaborations were progressing. The same investor update described flexible micro-nano sensors and IMU inertial sensors as products applicable to robotics. Hanwei separately reported small orders from some unnamed robot manufacturers, but did not identify AgiBot as the recipient of those orders.
